The standard of care for all patients being monitored with diabetes is an annual diabetic exam. This includes a dilated eye exam where we perform additional testing including optical coherence tomography (OCT) and retina photos. Changes to blood glucose can affect vision and eyes, so our doctors are able to treat accordingly and coordinate with your family physician.
