Eye emergencies include a wide range of conditions, each with their own symptoms.
If you are experiencing any of the below call us immediately at 780-464-4575 to schedule an appointment. Our staff are trained to triage emergencies appropriately. If this is an after hours emergency please proceed to the nearest hospital.
- Sudden vision loss
- A significant increase in floaters
- Seeing flashes of light or an “aura”
- Pupils are not the same size
- Double vision
- Increasing light sensitivity
- Pain, burning, or stinging
- Discharge from the eye
- Bleeding
- New or significant headaches
